Who Is James Lane?
Technical curiosity grounded in operational reality.
I am James Lane, and I have called Central PA home since 2010. I am married to Mallory, the love of my life, 13 years and counting. Our home also includes Rengar, our 13-year-old cat, and Chubs, our 2-year-old pug.
My background spans enterprise IT, cellular communications, healthcare operations, process improvement, and hands-on AI development. I am autistic and partially disabled, and that lived experience reinforces how I work with clients: clearly, patiently, and with first-class knowledge and support.
My recent work includes proposing an AI agent pilot at a large health insurer, designing practical AI helpers, and building small web tools that make operational questions easier to inspect.
The Process Map Builder below is an example of that thinking: it turns an informal description of work into structured information that can support better prioritization and AI opportunity review.
I am especially interested in roles involving workflow analysis, AI enablement, business analysis, internal tooling, and practical process improvement.
The goal is not to present a finished enterprise platform. It is to show how I reason about messy work, make assumptions visible, and build useful tools around the problem.
